so.. I decided I didn't like having the solenoid for the batteries on the ignition switch...
it allows the batteries to connect before the system starts charging, and if I had drained the rear batteries running the stereo, they would equalize with the front battery and kill it before I got started!
so I created a special switch to take care of it.
my only complaint so far... the green light is way too friggin bright at night! small piece of electrical tape takes care of that for now, and I want to add an amber light that comes on when the engine is on, but the switch isn't, and will go out when you enable the solenoid, just as a reminder to turn the system on.
